FOR DENTAL PRACTICES

You're gloved up with a patient in the chair.
The reception phone is ringing out.

Most callers won't leave a voicemail. They ring the next practice on the list, and that's where the new patient goes. Every Call Handled answers every call, day and night, books real appointments into your diary while the caller is on the line, and sends you a summary before they've hung up.

THE PROBLEM, HONESTLY STATED

The phone and the person at reception are two jobs in the same second.

01

Reception is stretched in exactly the moments calls arrive.

Peak hours, lunch, and a patient standing at the desk. Nobody is doing anything wrong; the phone simply loses to the person in front of your team.

02

Callers who reach voicemail mostly do not come back.

Most people won't leave a message. They ring the next practice on the list, and you never find out it happened.

03

After 5pm, the practice falls silent.

Working patients ring in the evening and at weekends - exactly when there is nobody to answer.

HOW ECH HANDLES IT

A receptionist
that books, not one that promises callbacks.

RELIABILITY

Answers every call, then books it.

Live diary integration - Semble today, with more practice systems coming - means callers are offered genuine availability and booked in the conversation. Every detail is read back and confirmed before anything lands in the diary.

INTELLIGENCE

Intake done before arrival. Deposits taken in the chat.

New patient forms completed in chat or by texted link and written back to your system. Deposits taken through Stripe during booking, straight into your own account - no-shows fall when there is money on the table.

WARMTH

Urgent things reach humans. Always.

Anything urgent or sensitive alerts your team immediately, and the patient always has a path to a person. It never gives medical advice, by design. After every call, you get the summary by text and email.

FOR UK DENTAL PRACTICES · SAFETY

No medical advice.
By design, not by hoping.

A receptionist for a healthcare setting has one non-negotiable: it must know what is not its job.

01

Never gives medical advice.

Clinical questions are signposted to your team, not answered. This is enforced in how the receptionist is built, not left to chance.

02

Urgency recognised and escalated.

A patient in pain or a safety concern alerts your team immediately, mid-conversation.

03

A path to a person, always.

Anyone who needs a human is handed to your team. Nobody is trapped in a menu.

04

UK GDPR, and straight answers.

Card details only ever touch Stripe's own pages. Bring us your due-diligence questions before you start - we answer them plainly.

QUESTIONS DENTISTS ASK FIRST

Asked and answered.

Won't my patients hate talking to a robot?

They hate press-1 menus and chatbots that make them spell their name. This answers like a person, in natural speech. Returning patients are recognised so nobody repeats their details, and anyone who needs a human is passed to your team. Ring the demo and judge for yourself.

Does it actually book into my diary, or just take messages?

It books. Live availability from your practice system, offered to the caller, confirmed back, and written into the diary during the call. Message-taking is what it replaces.

What happens with an emergency or a patient in pain?

It recognises urgency and alerts your team immediately, mid-conversation. It never attempts clinical judgement and never gives medical advice. Safety-critical situations get correct signposting first.

How long does setup take?

It's self-serve: sign up, upload your price list and policies, connect your diary, and switch on. Most practices do it without any help from us, though we're here if you want it.

What does it cost when we're busy?

£199 a month with generous included usage, and transparent usage-based credits beyond that. Busy months never switch you off, and there are no per-minute surprises.

Is patient data safe?

Card details only ever touch Stripe's own pages. Conversations and patient details are handled under UK GDPR, and we'll happily answer your due-diligence questions before you start.
